Happening All Weekend

Venardos Circus brings its Broadway-style traveling circus to San Antonio with Far Beyond, a theatrical production blending acrobatics, juggling, comedy, music, and storytelling. Founded by former Ringling Bros. ringmaster Kevin Venardos, the show reimagines the traditional American circus as an immersive experience celebrating artistry, imagination, and human connection.

This Broadway-style circus takes place under the classic big top tent and typically runs about two hours with a brief intermission. Advance tickets are recommended as showtimes often sell out. Doors open an hour early.

Texas Wool Week is a unique Hill Country gathering celebrating wool, fiber arts, and sustainable farm traditions. Held at a working ranch in Bandera, the weeklong event features hands-on classes, demonstrations, farm tours, artisan vendors, and opportunities to learn the full journey of fiber “from soil to sweater.”

Comfort

Kids can bring a favorite stuffed animal to the library for a special overnight adventure. Enjoy crafts, stories, and activities at drop-off, then leave your “stuffie” behind for a night of library mischief. Pick them up the next morning and hear about their adventures.

➡️ Children may wear pajamas and slippers if they would like, but it is not required. Crafts and story time will take place from 6:30–8:00 PM before stuffed animals stay overnight at the library. Only the stuffed animals remain for the sleepover.

A guided evening hike at Cibolo Nature Center designed for families to explore the trails at dusk and learn about Hill Country wildlife that becomes active after sunset.
