Kerrville’s Fourth on the River

This year's Fourth on the River feels especially meaningful. As Kerrville celebrates America's 250th birthday, it's also a chance for the community to come together to come together after everything the past year has brought.

New this year is the Stars & Stripes Cornhole Tournament, alongside a full afternoon and evening of live music, local food vendors, family activities, fireworks, and a brand-new drone show to close out the night.

Kerrville Open Pro Rodeo

Celebrate Independence Day weekend with two nights of rodeo action featuring bull riding, barrel racing, mutton bustin', and a calf scramble. Kids 8 and under get free admission plus a free hot dog and drink each night, making this one of the best family values of the holiday weekend.

250th Independence Day Celebration at Pecan Grove

Celebrate Independence Day weekend at the historic Pecan Grove Store with two days of live music, great food, and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. Kids and pets can play along the creek while adults enjoy the shaded biergarten. Grab one of their made-to-order Dino Burgers, hot dogs, or famous hot apple hand pies, then head into Fredericksburg for the city fireworks Saturday night.

Faith & Fellowship

An evening of worship, live music, community, and hope as Kerrville continues to heal together. Families can enjoy bounce houses, create a memorial mosaic tile, meet the Canines for Christ therapy dogs, and connect with neighbors in a welcoming atmosphere. The evening concludes with a candle-lighting ceremony honoring those affected by last year's floods.

Crider's Fourth of July Rodeo & Dance

Celebrate the Fourth at one of the Hill Country's most iconic dance halls with an evening of rodeo, live country music, fireworks, and dancing. This year's celebration marks 101 years of Crider's and serves as a chance for the community to come together after last year's devastating floods that impacted the historic venue.

Boerne Independence Day Fireworks Show

Celebrate the Fourth in Comfort with a full day of small-town festivities honoring America's 250th anniversary. Kerr County Love Project Tile Glazing Workshop
